Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at the Crown and Anchor in Dundrennan, and it was truly a delightful experience. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by hosts Jacqui and John, who went out of their way to make us feel at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic family-friendly amenities offered at the hotel. the kids absolutely loved the on-site tea rooms with their amazing homemade cakes - a perfect treat after a day of exploring the beautiful countryside. the outside seating area was a favorite spot for us to relax and enjoy the stunning garden views while the children played happily nearby. the spacious room provided plenty of storage for all of our belongings and the well-equipped refreshments made us feel right at home. the attention to detail in the room, from the ample lighting to the numerous mirrors, truly set the Crown and Anchor apart from larger hotels. the warm hospitality of Jacqui and John, combined with the family-friendly amenities and activities, made for a truly memorable experience. We can't wait to return to Dundrennan and create more special memories at this charming hotel.
